Harbert is located on the pristine shores of beautiful Lake Michigan. The lake looks like an ocean from the white sandy beaches. The sand is pure and clean and actually squeaks when you walk on it. If you have a keen eye, you can find crinoids to put in your pockets and perhaps make into jewelry.

Harbert is also famous for its excellent restaurants, galleries and shops. I love Luisa's Cafe for breakfast and lunch. Capozio's has wonderful lasagna, pizza, and eggplant parmesan.
